You can add participants to your site manually before they enroll the course.
Overview
If you wish to add participants to your site before they are enrolled the course, add them as an auditor, not as a student. Otherwise, the enrollment script will automatically deactivate your students from the site. Once they enroll the course officially, the script will automatically change auditors to students.
