What is the Attendance Tool?

The Attendance tool lets instructors make note of which students attend a particular class or event by marking each student as Present, Absent, Excused, Late, or Left Early. Instructors have the option to make new attendance items for every meeting or class period and keep track of individual students over the course of many events. In addition, instructors can automatically or manually grade students based on their attendance, and their score can be sent directly to the gradebook.

To access this tool, select Attendance from the tool bar.
